Attention passengers: No pants on the subway today

pink panty wedgies
chicken skin leg jitters.
yeah- we’re really doin it!

do we sit or should we stand?

like a fab flash-mob
or a polar bear plunge,
It’s showtime, baby!

ritual goofiness has its way
the train sways with us
in mutual exaltation.
away from our cubicles
we can be kids again.

i like you.
i love you.
i miss you.
come back.

Lounge

The nap of a martyr's sulk, deep self-immersion,
garden chat in the mother tongue, making it about me going into complete nap, the queasy guilt of it, the body weaker now than for anything else.

Mind sheared, blood wire-tapped.
I felt a play for influence, through the charcoal static.
Disloyalty, I think, but a fading chat best left to the grown ups.

Tomorrows

"There was never no tomorrow. There was only just today." - Pedro Pietri

Good nights
end

in
thoughts

of tomorrows
and until next times

and the longest sweetest kisses

I once wished

would never
end.

Punto.
